Getting to the Library
The Library is located at:
From the North and West: Take the NYS Thruway (I-287) south to Exit 14B (Airmont Rd.). Turn right onto Airmont Rd. At the second light, make a right onto Route 59W (which becomes Lafayette Ave.). Proceed 1.2 miles and you will see Good Samaritan Hospital (WMC Health) on the left and the library on the right. There is a stone wall surrounding the library.
From the South and East: Take the NYS Thruway (I-287) westbound to Exit 14B (Airmont Rd.). Make a left at the end of the ramp. At the 3rd light make a right onto Route 59W (which becomes Lafayette Ave.). Proceed 1.2 miles and you will see Good Samaritan Hospital (WMC Health) on the left and the library on the right. There is a stone wall surrounding the library.

Operating Hours
The Library building is now open the following hours:
- Mon – Thu: 9:30am – 8:00pm
- Fri: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Sat: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Sun: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
The Library is closed on Sundays over the summer starting the Sunday after Father’s Day. We reopen on Sundays after Labor Day.Â
These hours are subject to change without notice. Please call (845) 357-1237 to verify hours before heading out.
Emergency Closures
In the event of inclement weather, please call the Library at before heading out. There will be a message letting you know whether we are open. You can also visit our Facebook page for a quick update on emergency closings.
