I like reading anything with a good story, it doesn’t matter the genre or whether it’s fiction or non-fiction. I’m interested in local history books, research databases, readers advisory, book discussion, and reference books. I strive to serve the Suffern Free Library, and I think that Andrew Carnegie – who personally funded the creation of 1,689 new public libraries across the United States and 820 new public libraries across the world – had it right when he said “A library outranks any other one thing a community can do to benefit its people. It is a never failing spring in the desert.”
