  • Newspapers: We have world newspapers as well as local newspapers.
  • Foundation Center Online Directory: If you are researching grants and foundations, this is the best place in Rockland County to begin your search. Call us at 845-357-1237 for an appointment and we’ll be happy to help you.
  • Business: Legal Forms and Job Directories are available.
  • Languages: We now have Rosetta Stone. Learn to speak a new language this year!
  • History, Literature and Encyclopedias: Research essays, authors, biographies and more.
  • Genealogy: We have Ancestry.com.
  • Science & Health: Make informed health decisions.
  • Tax Forms: Forms are available at the Library starting in February.
  • DMV Driving Practice Tests: These NY DMV Practice Tests are good for the permit test, driver’s license test and senior refresher test.

Join a Book Discussion Group

We have several book discussion groups for adults. These groups meet monthly at the library. For a list of titles or more information, call us at (845) 357-1237.

Novel Ideas Book Discussion: Led by Andrew Nico, this group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 3pm. Register and pick up the book at the Adult Information Desk.

Suffern Book Club: Led by Sharon Aperto, this group meets on the second Saturday of the month at 11am. Register and pick up a copy of the book at the Adult Information Desk.

Banned Books Book Discussion: This is a new group that just started in Sept. 2024 and is led by Nancy Wendt. The focus is reading banned books. This group will meet every other month at 6:30pm.  Check for dates in the Calendar of Events.

Evening Book Discussion: This group is NEW and will meet in the evenings. The first meeting is scheduled for October 16 at 6:30pm. Register online and pick up a copy of the book at the Adult Information Desk, or download it from Libby.
